Ardrox 1218 is a blend of phosphoric acid and inhibitors. It will remove rust, heat treatment scale and welding scale from ferrous metals. Corrosion products on aluminum, copper and zinc alloys may also be removed.
Ardrox 1218 is especially suitable for use on chromium plated ferrous materials and ferrous surfaces which require very close tolerances.

ARDROX 1250 is a liquid mildly thixotropic acidic product designed to remove light soils and oxides from aluminum aircraft surfaces. ARDROX 1250 produces a uniform finish and can be used prior to conversion coating; anodizing; or welding. ARDROX 1250 may also be used to remove light rust from steel surfaces.

Ardrox 1435 is a two part alkaline liquid concentrate containing an oxidizing material. It is primarily intended as an aid in removing difficult heat scale such as those produced on high chromium steels and nickel and cobalt alloys, which are notoriously difficult to remove even with strong acids. Ardrox 1435 will not normally remove such scales by itself, but will chemically and physically modify them in such a manner as to make them more easily removable by milder and less dangerous methods than the use of strong acids.
The main field of use for Ardrox 1435 is the overhaul of “hot end” components of gas turbine engines. Ardrox 1435 has also been found useful for the removal of adherent carbon smut produced after heat treatment.

Ardrox 185L is a highly alkaline concentrated solution in water containing sequestrants. It is also available as a powder under the name Ardrox® 185. Ardrox 185L is primary intended for the removal of heavy rust and scale from ferrous components in immersion tanks but it is also capable to remove oil, grease and some air-dried paints. It will not attack or cause hydrogen embrittlement in ferrous alloys and there is markedly less tendency for re-rusting to occur than with acid pickling.
When used in conjunction with the adequate other Ardrox® specialties, Ardrox® 185L can be used to remove scale from hot-end jet engine components. It can also be used for cleaning parts made of Titanium.

Ardrox 1873A is a concentrated liquid mixture of sequestrants and surfactants. It is mildly acidic. Ardrox 1873A has been formulated specifically to descale the chrome steels, stainless steels, nickel and cobalt alloys used in the manufacture of aircraft turbine engines. During service these parts become covered with hard adherent oxide scale, which must be removed during overhaul periods to enable penetrant inspection processes to be carried out.

Ardrox 2302 is a mixture of solvents, activators and corrosion inhibitors. It consists of two layers: an upper layer oil seal to prevent evaporation of the active paint removing solvents in the lower layer. Ardrox 2302 contains no phenolic compounds, aromatic solvents or heavy metals.
Ardrox 2302 will remove a wide range of paint schemes including baked acrylics, epoxies, polyurethanes, and phenolics. It will also remove carbon or carbonaceous deposits, polymerized gum and lacquer deposits.

It contains no halogenated solvents, and its combination of near neutral pH and low odor makes it an excellent choice in areas where personnel are working.

Ardrox 295-G is a non-chromated, acidic material for removing oxides, alkaline etching, smut and
discoloration from aluminum and aluminum alloys. It is used before chromate conversion coating, nonchrome conversion coating, anodizing, electrical resistance welding, and other operations that require a very low level of surface contamination.
Ardrox 295-G performs well in hard water, requires no heat, deoxidizes rapidly and rinses freely. It meets Boeing Process Specification BAC 5765, Cleaning and Deoxidizing Aluminum Alloys, and can be used to meet the requirements of SAE-AMS-W-6858, Welding, Resistance: Spot and Seam.
