It builds on ISO 9001:2015 by adding aerospace-specific requirements like configuration management, counterfeit parts prevention, and first article inspection protocols. When you work with an AS9100D certified distributor, you're assured that materials are handled with the same rigorous standards required by major aerospace OEMs like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Airbus.

Yes. Every order ships with a Certificate of Conformance (C of C) that confirms the material meets your specifications. The C of C includes manufacturer lot numbers, material specifications, and references to the original mill test reports. For orders requiring additional documentation—such as First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) or custom test data—just let us know at the time of order and we'll arrange it.

We maintain complete lot tracking from the original manufacturer through final delivery. Every roll, sheet, and spool is labeled with the manufacturer's lot number, which links directly to the mill test reports showing chemical composition, mechanical properties, and quality test results. This documentation chain ensures that if you need to verify material origins months or years later—for audits, failure analysis, or regulatory compliance—we can provide the complete history.

We work with accredited third-party labs to provide testing required for aerospace applications, including outgassing testing (ASTM E595) for spacecraft materials, flammability testing (FAR 25.853) for aircraft interiors, adhesion testing (peel and shear strength), thermal performance validation, and environmental resistance testing. We'll issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and launch our CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process. This includes quarantining affected material, investigating the root cause, implementing corrective action, and keeping you informed throughout resolution. Our goal is to resolve non-conformances quickly while preventing recurrence.
