MAP® PCBE Coating

Low outgassing conductive white silicone coating

MAP® PCBE is a conductive white silicone coating developed for use in spacecraft. This coating provides superior thermal protection with excellent thermo-optical properties and very high resistance to particles (electrons, protons) irradiations and UV irradiation. This coating also provides a very good thermal stability at very low temperature (-170°C) and an electrical surface potential nil under electron beam irradiation (MAP® PCBE is compliant with ESD test).

Applications:

MAP® PCBE is suitable for outside and inside flight hardware parts of satellites. This coating finds in particular an application on:

• Antennas, radiators, reflectors
• Back side of solar panels, Composite NIDA panels
• Brackets, etc.
