MAP® PUK Coating

Conductive black polyurethane coating

MAP® PUK is a conductive, black polyurethane coating developed for use in spacecraft. This coating provides superior thermal protection with excellent thermo-optical properties and very high resistance to particles (electrons, protons) irradiations and UV irradiation. This coating also provides a very good thermal stability at very low temperature (-170°C) and an electrical surface potential nil under electron beam irradiation (MAP® PUK is compliant with ESD test).

Applications:

MAP® PUK is suitable for flight hardware parts of satellites.

This coating finds in particular an application on:

• Polyimide films
• Waveguide, satellite walls
• Optical baffle
• Brackets, electronic boxes
