White silicone coating low outgassing
MAP® SG121FD is a non-conductive silicone coating developed for use in spacecraft. This coating provides superior thermal protection with excellent thermo-optical properties and very high resistance to particles (electrons, protons) irradiations and UV irradiation. This coating also provides a very good thermal stability at very low temperature (-170°C) and an electrical surface potential nil under electron beam irradiation (MAP® SG121FD is compliant with ESD test).
Applications:
MAP. SG121FD is suitable for outside and inside flight hardware parts of satellites. This coating finds in particular an application on:
- Antennas, Radiators, Reflectors,
- Back side of solar panels, Composite NIDA panels
as well as on :
- Waveguide, Band feed, Feed Assay
- Brackets, etc
