MAP® PSX Primer

Adhesion primer for space use.

MAP PSX is an adhesion primer for silicone coatings, polyurethane coatings and resins.

APPLICATIONS:

MAP® PSX is suitable for outside and inside flight hardware parts of satellites. This coating finds in particular an application on:

• Optical parts and baffles
• Varnish of PCBs, potting, encapsulating

APPLICATION PARAMETERS:

MAP. PSX is a silane primer. 

Substrates and adhesion: Handle cleaned surfaces with appropriate gloves to avoid any pollution.

Surface preparation (Essential data): Dust removal with compressed air and/or unpolishing and cleaning with acetone or isopropanol (please contact us for more information depending on the substrate)

Any sticking on the product being absolutely prohibited, the sticking areas must be masked before any product application. (For further information, please contact us)

In order to know which product (s) to use according to your substrate we recommend to carrying out tests previously (please contact us).

MAP has a full range for this purpose: MAP PSX is recommended on composites, polyimide films and aluminium/metallic light alloys.
