MAP® AQ PU1 Coating

Low outgassing waterborne black coating

MAP® AQ PU1 is a waterborne polyurethane coating developed for use in spacecraft. The coating provides superior thermal protection with excellent thermo-optical properties and very high resistance to particles (electrons, protons) and UV irradiation. This coating also provides a very good thermal stability in very low temperature (-170°C) and an electrical surface potential nil under electron beam irradiation (MAP® AQ PU1 is conforming to ESD test).

Applications:

MAP. AQ PU1 is suitable for flight hardware parts of satellites. This coating finds in particular an application on:

• Waveguide, satellite walls
• Optical baffle
• Brackets, electronic boxes, …
